ThingReminder Support

Help when you need it.

Find answers to common questions about reminders, permissions, local data, and ThingReminder Pro—or contact support directly.

Notifications and permissions

A reminder did not notify me

Open the ThingReminder Settings screen and check the Notifications status. If notifications are disabled, open iOS Settings, select Notifications, choose ThingReminder, and enable notifications. Also confirm that the reminder is active and scheduled for a future time.

If Quiet Hours is enabled in ThingReminder, an alert scheduled inside that period may be delayed until Quiet Hours ends.

Camera access is off

Open iOS Settings, find ThingReminder, and enable Camera access. You can still use the system photo picker to choose an existing image if camera access is not available.

ThingReminder Pro

How do I restore my purchase?

In ThingReminder, open Settings, select ThingReminder Pro, then choose Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. ThingReminder Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase—not a subscription.

I was charged but Pro is still locked

First try Restore Purchases and reopen the app. If Pro remains locked, email support with the approximate purchase date, your country or region, and any error message shown by the app. Do not send payment-card details or your Apple Account password.

Local data and deletion

Where are my reminders and photos stored?

Reminder content and photos are stored locally on your device. The current version of ThingReminder does not provide developer-hosted cloud sync or an account system.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual reminders and their photos inside the app. Uninstalling ThingReminder removes its local app data from the device, subject to backups managed through your Apple services. Review the Privacy Policy for more information.

Report a problem

To help diagnose an issue, include:

  • Your ThingReminder app version.
  • Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version.
  • The steps that led to the problem.
  • The exact error message, if one appeared.
  • A screenshot, if it does not contain private reminder content.

Never email your Apple Account password, verification code, full payment-card number, or private photos that are unrelated to the issue.
